Daftar Pemenang dan Nominasi Grammy Awards 2016

Perhelatan terbesar di belantika musik, Grammy Awards yang ke-58 digelar Selasa 16 Februari 2016 (waktu Indonesia), di Staples Center, Los Angeles, California. Secara total, terdapat 83 kategori yang diperebutkan oleh sederet musisi papan atas dunia dan beberapa di antaranya sudah mulai diumumkan lewat situs resmi Grammy Awards.

Kendrick Lamar dan Taylor Swift menjadi yang terbanyak membawa pulang piala Grammy Awards 2016. Taylor memenangkan tiga kategori, yakni Album Of The Year, Best Pop Vocal Album dan Best Music Video. Sementara itu, Kendrick Lamar menyapu bersih semua piala di kategori rap. Total, pelantun Alright itu menang lima piala, yaitu Best Rap Album, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, Best Rap Song dan Best Music Video bersama Taylor Swift.

Grammy Awards 2016 juga memberikan trofi pertama masing-masing pada Meghan Trainor dan Ed Sheeran. Meghan menjadi yang terbaik di kategori Best New Artist, sementara Ed meraih dua trofi, yakni Song Of The Year dan Best Pop Solo Performance.

Di sisi lain, Joey Alexander yang menjadi wakil Indonesia di Grammy Awards 2016 gagal membawa pulang trofi ajang tahunan tersebut. Joey yang dinominasikan di dua kategori, yakni Best Improvised Jazz Solo dan Best Jazz Instrumental Album, harus rela kalah dari Christian McBride serta John Scofield.
