Ajang bergengsi Academy Awards kembali dihelat untuk yang ke-89 dalam mengapresiasi para insan perfilman dunia yang tengah memeriahkan jagat hiburan di tahun 2016 lalu. Film “La La Land” yang telah menyabet 7 trofi dari 7 kategori di Golden Globe Award pun kini kembali membuat rekor.
Film “La La Land” kini menyabet 14 nominasi dalam 13 kategori yang ada di Oscar. Dilansir dari Vox, hal tersebut membuat film dengan genre drama-musikal itu menyamai rekor film “Titanic” di tahun 1997 serta “All About Eve” pada tahun 1950 lalu.
Meski merajai kategori, namun sederet film box office lain seperti film “Arrival,” “Moonlight,” “Fences,” “Suicide Squad,” “Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them,” serta “Moana” pun meraih beberapa nominasi yang ada di 24 kategori Oscar 2017 ini.
