NME Awards 2012

NME Awards 2012, baru saja berlangsung. Ajang penganugerahan musik yang sudah diadakan sejak 1953 ini menarik, karena pemenang adalah hasil voting pembaca NME Magazine. Awards yang berdasarkan suara pembaca/ konsumen biasanya lebih bisa diterima oleh kita, orang pada umumnya tidak karena juga menunjukan fakta yang ada di lingkungan penggemar musik. Namun tidak seperti awards dari MTV, NME punya taste yang lebih “sexy”mungkin karena tidak se’main stream MTV, apalagi voters untuk MTV sebagian besar adalah anak nongkrong MTV (u know what I mean, red).

Kategori-kategori di NME Awards selalu unik,  bervariasi, selalu di’update dengan keadaan jaman dan trend, dan ada juga anugerah untuk “Worst”. Perhatikan nominasi dan pemenang dari tahun ke tahun, dimana tahun ini Artis bisa dipuji, tapi kalau dia lagi menghasilkan karya yang ga OK, yah jadilah dia tidak menerima pujian.
